The Beau Soleil philosophy is to reduce labor, materials, and waste
during the creative process. We work closely with our partners to ensure that there are no pesticides in our cotton plants and that only vegetable dyes are used to reduce chemicals.
We use recycled materials for our packaging, hangtags, tissue paper, boxes, and bags. Our fabrics are recycled for future samples and during the development process of new styles.
Bamboo is a favorite fabric for Beau Soleil, because it’s one of the fastest growing plants on earth and it flourishes without pesticides. It’s also a sustainable material that can be easily replenished and has a positive impact on the environment.
Leather trims on our designs are surplus from our previously made garments or from other manufacturers, so as not to incur waste. We are constantly exploring innovative ways to reuse materials.
We design bespoke pieces by using existing garments and re-crafting them into one-of-a-kind designs.
FAIR TRADE + FAIR LABOR
Beau Soleil partners are fair trade and fair labor certified. Our mills develop fabrics that are eco-friendly by European standards. It’s Beau Soleil’s priority that both the environment and the people working on our designs are treated more than fairly during our creation process.
